For the second year in a row the Silver Ferns gave up their time and came to St Kentigern’s College for three hours and trained 80 of our girls from mainly Decile One Schools in Auckland and Tauramanui.

Apart from having two hours of grid training, our girls also had the opportunity of having lunch with the Silver Ferns and having them answer a number of their questions.

We would like to take this opportunity, of not only thanking NZ Netball for the Silver Fern’s time, but also our Sponsors New World and BLK New Zealand, for making this event happen.

St Kentigern College were also very generous with their time, allowing their NZ Champion Premier Netball team to assist the Silver Ferns, and also the gifting of netballs to each of the teams.

To top this event off, BLK New Zealand gifted to Glen Innes School 10 tickets to watch the Silver Ferns play Australia on the 15th of October.
