When we started Breakfast Club at Randwick Park School in 2010 we wanted to make a difference and to do this we knew we needed to do things in a different way.
Due to demand from our two new schools (St. Pius X and Glen Taylor) we will be having lunch as well as the dinner, catering for over 600 children and adults.
From the first school day of the last term we will be working with Glen Taylor School in Glen Innes, our fourth school. Three of these schools are in close proximity in the Glen Innes area and all have school roles of around 200. Their combined total is about the same size as Randwick Park School’s roll.
This week Zion Ministries’ Breakfast Club organised a Sports retreat for 6 schools at St Kentigern College. Approximately 200 attended for three days of various sporting games, from flags, soccer, rugby, netball, basket ball culminating in a game of dodgeball between the St Kentigern Students and our children.
