Every year BC Sports invites Glen Innes and Glen Taylor Schools to have a Fun Run from Pakuranga Sailing Club to St Kentigern College (2.5 km) with the Glen Innes Police putting on a BBQ. Harmony Company again donated the sausages.
A special thanks to St Kentigern College that provides their BBQ and venue.
The children handled the distance the best ever today with even the slowest runners doing faster times than in the past.
The 2.5 km is the Police qualifying distance… look out Mr Police Recruiter – there could be some good applicants knocking on your door soon.
