GI Police versus GI Schools
In August we arranged a Volleyball tournament at Glen Innes School and invited Glen Innes, Glen Taylor. Ruapotaka and Stanhope Schools to attend along with a team from Glen Innes Police.
Thanks to Harmony Company, sausages were provided for 200 children at no cost.
It was a great day, with the Police rigging their team with Epalahame Lauaki, a Tongan International. They came out on top on the day, drawing even with Glen Taylor School.
Clearly this is a day that will be repeated a couple of times a year and no doubt the schools will come next time better prepared by hammer the local Police.
